Mark-Anthony is a Partner in Deloitte’s Financial Advisory Services practice in Atlantic Canada and is based in Saint John, New Brunswick. Mark-Anthony has over 19 years of experience in Assurance, Risk Advisory Services and Financial Advisory Services.

Mark-Anthony holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation, a Chartered Business Valuator designation and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.

Rick Walsh joined the Sea Dogs front office in September of 2007 in the role of Controller and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in July, 2016.

Prior to taking on his accounting role with the Sea Dogs, Mr. Walsh enjoyed an extensive career in Project Management with companies including EDS Canada, SHL Sytemhouse, Unisys Canada, and the Hibernia Management and Development Company.

Born, raised and educated in Saint John, Mr. Walsh’s career began with Saint John Shipbuilding on the Canadian Patrol Frigate Program in 1986. Leaving Saint John in 1991 to pursue mega-projects, Rick has had the opportunity to live and work in St. John’s, NL, Montreal, QC, Dartmouth, NS, Ottawa, ON, and Charlottetown, P.E.I. before ultimately returning to the Saint John area in 2003.

Mr. Walsh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from UNB Saint John, and holds the Professional Designation of Certified General Accountant.

Melissa Leighton received her Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of New Brunswick Saint John, where she graduated at the top of her class with distinction.

Melissa then started her full-time career in 2013 to pursue in CA Designation, which she received in 2016. Throughout Melissa’s career she gained experience in audit, tax, accounting, analytics, business planning and teaching.

Melissa has been passionate about helping people her entire life. Following her completion of her CA Designation, she developed a coaching / mentoring program for students entering the CPA Training Program, mentors through Big Brothers Big Sisters, CPA Atlantic, and volunteers on various Non-for-Profit Boards.
